Children’s Workshop
at Bruce’s Garden in Isham Park
By car, you'll want to:
1. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (NY-9A) northbound Or southbound
2. Exit at Dyckman St.
3. Turn left at the first light onto Henshaw St.
4. Turn right onto Dyckman St.
5. At the second light. turn left onto Seaman Ave.
6. Continue to 218 St.
7. Turn right onto 218 St. and continue to Park Terrace East (second right).
8. Turn right onto Park Terrace East, and continue uphill to the stop sign at W. 215th St.
9. Keep straight. Bruce’s Garden will be on your right.
10. Continue to the cul-de-sac at the end of Park Terrace East.
11. Hayes Greenfield’s Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz Children’s Workshop will be on the right.
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the subway. The closest subway station is the 1 train (Red Line) at 215th Street. From there:
1. Take the W. 215th St exit.
2. On W. 215th St. walk west toward Broadway, and cross the street.
3. Turn left, and walk south 4 car-lengths (away from the Broadway Bridge) to the W. 215th St staircase on the right.
4. Take concrete staircase.
5. On the top of the staircase, turn left onto Park Terrace East.
6. Walk one block, passing Bruce’s Garden on the right.
7. Go to the cul-de-sac at the end of Park Terrace East.
8. Hayes Greenfield’s Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz Children’s Workshop will be on the right.
Or, you can take the A train (Blue Line) to the 207th Street subway station. Upon exiting the station:
1. Take the Isham St. exit (West).
2. Turn right at the corner of Broadway & Isham St. and walk one block. Do not cross Broadway or Isham St.
3. Turn right onto Park Terrace West, and continue uphill to W. 215th St.
4. Turn right onto W. 215th St, and continue to Park Terrace East.
5. Turn right onto Park Terrace East.
6. Walk one block, passing Bruce’s Garden on the right.
7. Go to the cul-de-sac at the end of Park Terrace East.
8. Hayes Greenfield’s Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz Children’s Workshop will be on the right.

Inwood Jazz Festival
at Inwood Hill Park
218th & Indian Road
​
To reach Inwood Hill Park at 218th & Indian Road, you have two main options: by car or by train
By car, you'll want to:

Take the Henry Hudson Parkway (NY-9A) northbound Or southbound

Exit at Dyckman St.

Turn left at the first light onto Henshaw St.

Turn right onto Dyckman St.

At the second light. turn left onto Seaman Ave.

Continue to 218 St.

Turn left onto 218 St. and continue to Indian Rd.
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the subway. The closest subway station is the 1 train (Red Line) at 215th Street. From there:

Walk north on 10th Avenue until you reach West 218th Street.

Turn left onto West 218th Street, walk downhill and continue until the end (you have reached Indian Road and arrived at Inwood Hill Park).

Or, you can take the A train (Blue Line) to the 207th Street subway station. Upon exiting the station:

Walk north on Broadway until you reach West 218th Street.

Turn left onto West 218th Street and continue until you reach Indian Road and you will have arrived at Inwood Hill Park.
